Moksa Brewing Co.

All You Need to Know About Moksa Brewing Co.

For a new kid on the block, Moksa Brewing Co. sure has made one hell of a big impression. Despite throwing its doors open as recently as 2018, Moksa’s brewhouse has already established itself as one of the leading lights in the brewing game. But don’t just take my word for it. Not when the brewing cognoscenti is rushing to heap praise on this newcomer. The laurels, indeed, have been flooding in from all angles.

At the 2018 California State Fair, the company’s “Zesty Time” brew took home a silver medal. Their hazy IPA, meanwhile, went one better at a local taste test. On a broader scale, the brewing industry bible, Hop Culture, named Moksa Brewing Co. as one of the leading new breweries in the United States. Pretty impressive huh? Well, get this. Following a global survey of diehard beer-lovers, the Rocklin based brewhouse was also rated as the 6th best new brewery on the planet.

The Lineup of Beers

As you would expect from an award-winning brewhouse, the lineup of beers at Moksa Brewing Co. is extensive. The menu, in fact, reads like an A to Z of beers. On one hand, you’ve got stouts, porters, and kölsches. While on the other, you’ve got pale ales, IPAs, and lagers. All of these delicious tipples, needless to say, have been brewed to meet Moksa’s exacting standards.

The Indoor Space

The brewhouse’s 3,000 square-foot taproom provides seating for somewhere in the region of 120 beer-loving patrons. What’s more, it’s something of a mini-architectural triumph. Floor to ceiling windows work their magic to seemingly invite the outdoors inside.

Food Options

It must be said that food plays second fiddle to beer. To be fair, what else would you expect? Moksa is a brewhouse after all. However, don’t for one moment think that you’ll have to do without food altogether. Moksa mightn’t have a full kitchen, but what it does have is a tasty range of snacks. What’s more, if you’re in the mood for something a little more substantial, they also arrange for food trucks to stop by.

Non-Alcoholic Drinks

Now, to some, the very notion of serving non-alcoholic drinks in a brewhouse may be a form of sacrilege. However, Moksa, let’s not forget, is a kid-friendly establishment. So non-alcoholic drinks are a must. All in all, you can choose from still-water, Moksa’s very own mineral water, and a range of sodas.

Moksa Merchandise

Like any self-respecting outlet these days, Moksa stocks a range of own-brand merch. You can splash out on everything from t-shirts to cooler bags, sweatshirts to pint glasses, and tank tops to snifters. Quite the haul, I think you’ll agree.
